Meet the STEP Team

Paul has worked in education for 38 years, including 17 years as a headteacher in 3 schools in Southwark and South Croydon. For the last 4 years he has worked at Croydon Council and is currently involved in using surplus space in mainstream schools to create SEN provision. He has always been heavily involved with school sport; He is chair of Croydon Schools Football Association and helped set up the Croydon School Sports Partnership as well as being a trustee for Squash Squared. Paul is a lifelong Chelsea fan and now a season ticket holder at Bromley. Both his wife and daughter work in education.

Paul was appointed as a trustee September 2026 and is a member of the Finance and Operations Committee, and Chair of the Opportunities Risk and Audit Committee.
